The Hunt to Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves!
February 1-29, 2016
It all started a number of months ago. We came across an online game our friends at ChangeDayBC were hosting using an app, new to us, called GooseChase.
What is GooseChase, you ask? GooseChase is your ticket to an iPad Mini. Yes, you heard right. An.iPad.Mini. *Someone break out the confetti!*
Launching February 1st, we will be holding an online scavenger hunt through this free app all in the name of Eating Disorders Awareness. If you are a)a human being and b)live in British Columbia c)have access to an Android, iPhone or tablet device, then you’re eligible to play.
Through the app, you will have various photo-based missions to complete for points. Get ahead of the game and download the app so you’re ready! Simply search for “GooseChase” in the app store to download, create an account, and search for “Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves” to join the game. Hint: rumour has it our wristband may come in handy, so you’ll want to order yours ahead of time!
The person with the most points will win an iPad Mini, donated generously from our friends at Family Services of the North Shore.
But wait, there’s more!
We have a number of random draw prizes available because of some wonderful in-kind donations:
- $100.00 Gift Certificate towards The Source courtesy of Bell Let’s Talk
- $50.00 Best Buy Gift Certificate
- Inspirational Necklace from Wonderkath Etsy Shop
All of the finer details about the contest can be downloaded here.
We hope you are able to join us in The Hunt to Love our Bodies, Love Ourselves. Join our Facebook event page to stay in the loop, and good luck!
