Love Our Bodies, Love Ourselves Events

School Presentations

Our community and school-based presentations are available for schools and groups throughout Metro Vancouver for a nominal fee. Presentations are available in person or virtually in the Lower Mainland and virtually elsewhere.

We have developed a PowerPoint presentation that addresses eating disorders and disordered eating, media awareness and literacy, resiliency skills, and weight and shape bias. The presentation takes approximately 90 minutes with time for Q&A built in, and have content tailored by age groups (available for Grades 4 – 12).

Jessie’s Legacy will have MA-level psychology practicum students trained from mid to late September 2021. These students will be ready to deliver these presentations by mid to late October 2021.

Community Workshops, Presentations, and Training

Jessie’s Legacy also offers services from our contracted eating disorders therapist and speaker, Carmen Kaufmann, who is available to provide education presentations for parents, professionals, educators, and other special interest groups. For this option, there is a fee associated. Please contact us for quotes and specific requests.

We offer workshops, community webinars, and training in a variety of settings with tailored content for your organization and audience.
